Only projects that have secured at least 90% of their funding and have strong distribution agreements are considered. For live events and music projects, the selection process is similar. We evaluate the promoter’s experience and the event's financial viability, ensuring the budget is realistic and that there are existing financial commitments. Events must also have insurance to cover potential cancellations, protecting your investment. Our partnerships in the film and music industries ensure quality control and pre-established distribution agreements.

Funding Stages: Once a project is approved, we first approach our network of professional investors to cover a significant part of the funding needed. After securing the majority of the funding, we open the investment opportunity to retail investors on our platform. Hulahoop manages the risk for retail investors and facilitates the investment process.

The specific use of funds depends on the project.

• For film projects, your investment might cover the final budget gaps needed to complete post-production, marketing costs, or advance VAT payments. We only accept projects that are near completion or need funds to reach the market, ensuring a higher likelihood of success.

• For music or live entertainment projects, your investment might help promoters manage cash flow issues, such as advancing ticket sales revenue. Events also need to have insurance in case of cancellations, ensuring further security for your investment.

The estimated timeframe for recouping your investment is stated in the contract for each project.

For film projects, you receive returns when the distribution process starts, meaning when the project is sold to theaters, platforms, TV channels, OTTs, airlines, etc.
