Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Hulahoop is a fintech driving new ways to finance the audiovisual, music and cultural sectors. We connect creators and investors through a clear, efficient tech platform built to scale.

We're a small team building two platforms in parallel: Hulahoop Platform (crowdfunding platform regulated by CNMV/ECSPR) and Hulahoop Pro (fintech solutions platform for the sector, starting with Hulahoop Pro Tax, a B2B SaaS for tax advisors).

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build out our platforms end to end: frontend, backend and everything in between. Someone with strong judgment and real ownership. We're not looking for someone who waits for tickets: we're looking for someone who leads their work.

🧑‍💻 Solid experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js (frontend) and Python with FastAPI (backend)
🏛️ The judgment to design end-to-end systems: architecture, API contracts, data model, UI
🛠️ Hands-on DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), cloud fundamentals (ideally GCP)
🧱 Track record building and maintaining SaaS in production, not just prototypes
🎨 Strong UX and design judgment: able to translate Figma designs into a coherent, polished UI — or propose the solution when there's no design
🤖 Fluent use of Claude Code, Cursor or similar as part of your daily workflow. It's not a tool, it's a multiplier — and that's how we work here
🚀 Leadership and ownership mindset: if you expect to be told what to do every day, this role isn't for you
🗣️ Fluent Spanish and working-level technical English

Experience with GCP (Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, Cloud SQL)
Clean Architecture / domain-driven backend architecture
Integrations with external APIs (Lemonway, DocuSign, Clerk, Notion, Slack, payment gateways, etc.)
Monorepos and modern tooling (uv, pnpm, oxlint, Biome)
Fintech, regulated crowdfunding or compliance-heavy environments (CNMV, GDPR, AML/KYC)
Public contributions to the tech community: open source, conference talks, or technical writing (we publish on the Hulahoop Journal)
